MotionCam detectors include a camera that takes a series of photos the moment movement is detected. Thanks to a second radio channel, called Wings, those images reach the app and the monitoring centre within seconds, so operators can confirm a real intrusion before dispatching anyone. Fewer false alarms and faster responses.
Battery life and self-monitoring
Ajax devices run on long-life batteries that, depending on the model, last several years, and they warn you well in advance when they need replacing. The system also runs automatic checks and alerts you if any device loses connection or is tampered with.
Backup communications
Depending on the model, the hub can connect through several channels at once, such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi or mobile data, so if one fails, another keeps transmitting. This is key to ensuring alerts always get through.
